At Èkó Street, we capture an essence of Lagos in jars of edible aromatic chilli oils and “jams”. 🌶️ We project the life and vibrancy of the city and its peoples, in jazzy, zingy, tastes, flavours and textures. Our products include plain-hot (Ikoyi Blend) 🔥, sweet-hot (Lagos Jam); sweet-mild (Apapa Roast), and the enigmatic (Afrobeats Mix). They are all different, each has its own distinct character. ❤️

They are crafted with a Nigerian 🇳🇬 style, which is very different from chilli products from Asia, South America or Europe. The ingredients are similar, but the processing is very different. We make a ‘cooked’ chilli! Yes, you’ve had chilli condiments before, but trust us, these are different. Our unique style creates a chilli like you’ve never tasted before, guaranteed!

Spicy Indomie

Prepare your Indomie, as you normally would, but add a few drops of our 3-star Ikoyi Blend chilli, from the 50ml bottle. Folks; the dripper is there for a reason! Add as few or as many drops to get the desired effect. The result is an added aroma and a lively kick.

Chilli Drizzle

This is the simplest recipe; simply drizzle some 2-star Ikoyi Blend, from our 40ml or 190ml jar, on your pasta sauce to give it some zing. Use a teaspoon to spread it, carefully. You can do similar with lentils, beans or soups; simply add a few drops, or more, to the meal, and stir in before eating.

Vegan Pepper Soup

Toast finely ground spices (coriander, cumin, fennel seeds, & aniseed) in a pan over low to medium heat, for 2 minutes, until fragrance wafts through. Chop some vegetables (carrots, onions, potatoes, etc.). Place in a large pot with 2 cups of water, salt, and a few drops of 3-star Ikoyi Blend. Stir and simmer over low heat.
